Wed., March 10, 2010, 7pm-8pm – St. Patrick’s
Day Celebration, Presented by the Blue
Island Library, held in the Sanctuary of the Christ Memorial
United Church of Christ, 2440 York, Blue Island, IL. Aislinn returns
to the library accompanied by Teresa Shine (fiddle) and Meghan Anzelc
(flute) for a St. Patrick’s Day session and celebration. Free
and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Fri., March 12, 2010, 7:30-10:30pm –
Murphy’s, Orland Park, IL. Aislinn joins fiddler Teresa
Shine for a St. Pat’s traditional Irish session. Come for
dinner, stay for drinks! Open to the public.
Sat., March 13, 2010, 8-11pm – Julius
Meinl, 3601 N. Southport; Chicago, IL. At the corner of Southport
and Addison. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Aislinn and
friends as they host a traditional Irish music session at this European
inspired cafe, this time at their original location in Wrigleyville.
Come for dinner, stay for dessert, and bring a friend! Please visit
their website for more info on their menu, driving directions, etc.
Kitchen closes at 9pm. Open to the public.
Sun., March 14, 2010, 9:30am - St. Patrick’s Day Mass, Queen
of Martyrs, 103rd & Central Park, Evergreen Park. Aislinn and
Teresa Shine (fiddle) accompany a St. Patrick’s Day mass.
Free and open to the public.
Tue., March 16, 2010, 2pm-3pm – Spring
Irish Festival, Simpson Multipurpose Room, Loyola University
Chicago, Lake Shore Campus. Following a lecture at 1pm entitled
“The Music of What Happens: The Irish Harp in Myth and Neuroscience”
by Fr. Richard Woods, O.P., Aislinn will give a live performance
of Irish music on the harp. Free and open to the public.
Sat., May 8, 2010, 12pm – Chicago
Celtic Fest, Harp Tent, Millennium Park, Chicago, IL. Aislinn
and Meghan Anzelc (flute) return to their favorite autumn fest –
now in the spring! Come celebrate an early Mother’s Day by
enjoying great music to go along with the great scenery that May
is sure to bring!
